Old Boys legend Ross Lilley leads the NPOB 2022 Colts with his coaching experience, a reconstructed knee, and an ability to help boys grow into respectable young men. He is supported in coaching by Jeremy Burton who always puts his best foot forward for the Colts, and by Trent Sutton who pulls off the pink training bibs better than most. Wade Donovan the Colts manager has settled into the Old Boy’s scene smoothly after his relocation to Taranaki due to his slick organisation skills and likeable sense of humour.
The men in the colts this year have built themselves on a foundation of hard work, family, and unusual hairstyles. There are a multitude of impressive players in the team this year such as Che Potaka who is easily spotted on the field not only due to his bleach blonde hair, but due to his talent in getting over the try line. We are lucky to have the Logan boys- Logan Warner who has an impressive moustache and an impressive line out catch as well as Chris Logan who gives Usain Bolt a run for his money. Shaccaine Enoka captains the team this year and does so through leading by example and giving each game and training his best effort.
The tradition continues of the Colts op-shopping their style for their aftermath functions, so if you see them in an abundance of tweed or peaky blinders style hats, give them your nod of approval.
