As the 2024 Rugby Season has now officially finished, we are well into planning for the 2025 Rugby Season.
The Board have been working hard in the background, engaging and receiving feedback from a number of key stakeholders which will help us firm up our strategy moving forward. As part of this we have identified some key roles where our Board members are leaving us for 2025. We need your help, to fill some key roles:
- Secretary – this role is key to the board and really makes us hum.
- Social Media & Communications – a pivotal role to get our messages out to our wider community.
- Bar Manager – no rugby club can operate without a bar, most would say this position is essential for the club.
Each of these roles have well documented job descriptions, and can be shared amongst 2 or more people. The secretary and social media & communications roles are also board roles. We will have clear handovers, so you will have great support. Please reach out to learn more prior to the AGM if you are interested, or pass this onto someone who you may be keen.
We would love to see as many people as possible at the upcoming AGM so mark it in your diaries.

We now have a new caterer so keep an eye on social media for more news, kitchen opening etc.
Club wish list – we are keen to have any ideas on what you all want from the club – can be gear related if you are a player / event related if you are a supporter or a longer term need ie; female changing rooms. Please let us know your ideas, no idea is too big or too small.
If anyone has some free time next weekend head along to see the first T20 clash between NPOB Cricket Club and NPOB Rugby Club, Saturday 5th October 1pm onwards at Vogeltown Park – who will be the inaugural champions??
