What a solid season!
I will start by saying a huge thanks to the players, coaches, management, and supporters – however, we are not done yet! We have two teams in the finals this weekend at Vogeltown Park and we need all the support we can get!
We have a big weekend ahead of us, hosting the CMK Club Rugby Finals, with both our Div 1 and Colts teams taking the field. Congratulations to both teams for their work throughout the season to make it to the finals – and thanks to the players and coaches from our Premier Team who unfortunately missed out on a finals spot against a strong Tukapa side. For more information on matches this weekend, see below:
- Colts Final: NPOB v Stratford-Eltham | Field 1 @ 12pm
- Div 2 Final: Kaitake v Kaponga | Field 3 @ 12.30pm
- Div 1 Final: NPOB v Tukapa | Field 2 @ 1pm
- Premier Final: Clifton v Tukapa | Field 1 @ 2.45pm
Tickets to the CMK Club Finals Day can be purchased from the clubrooms this Thursday 6pm-7pm or on Saturday at the gate. The cost will be $10.
Before the finals kick off, we will be hosting a club brunch and welcome all supporters, sponsors, and Friends of Old Boys Members to join us in celebrating the year. This will be starting at 10.30am with the menu below – note, entrance to the club for this function will be through the back doors next to the changing rooms.
Brunch for sponsors and Friends of Old Boys Members will be complimentary, please RSVP to Sonia before 8pm Friday to confirm attendance – sonia.cloke@xtra.co.nz
We would also like to extend the invite to everyone to join our teams on Thursday night for a beer and dinner.
