With the season kicking off April 1, it has been great to see our teams on Tuesday and Thursday nights putting in the hard work in preparation for the season.
This showed on the weekend, with our premier squad heading up to Hamilton to compete in a preseason tournament and finishing up in 2nd place behind the current Auckland Champions Manakau. The boysplayed really well against some tough sides, including the hosts Hamilton Old Boys and Mount Maunganui – before meeting Manakau in the final. It proved to be a fun weekend and huge shout out to the boys who took the field!
Our next preseason hit out is tonight against Clifton. If you want to check it out, kick off is at 6.15pm at Vogeltown Park.
