What a huge season! The boys have been doing great, with all teams near the top of the leader board and our u85 lads putting on a solid show in the first round of the National u85 Cup! Jobs is not done yet through, we have a few more rounds before finals footy starts and our u85 boys have their second round to play this weekend!
If you want to get updates on how the teams have played, we send out match reports weekly to Friends of Old Boys members. If you want to be added to the list you can register here for your membership. Note, those who have registered already can collect cards and welcome gifts from Sonia at the club.
Upcoming we have some solid matches on the cards including some great events. Check out the list below – and don’t miss out, lock them in the calendars!
- 16 June: Lighting Launch and NPOB Juniors under the lights
- 17 June: Away vs Inglewood (note, no Div1 match due to Inglewood defaulting)
- 18 June: Spark Metal Fabrication NPOB u85 ‘Half Pints’ vs Petone ‘Blues Brothers’ at Yarrow Stadium, kick off 3.30pm.
- 24 June: Home vs Southern; Family Day at the Whitehouse; Woodstock ’69 Theme Night.
- 1 July: Away vs Tukapa (final match of round robin)
This Friday, we are looking forward to hosting sponsors and supporters at the club to officially turn our ‘lights on’. See below for timing and details:
- 5pm: Club Rooms and Bar open
- 5.30pm: Drinks and nibbles for sponsors; First round of junior matches kick off
- 6.30pm: Second round of junior matches kick off.
